Oscar S. Wyatt, Jr., is the founder of Coastal Corporation.  A former crop duster, World War II pilot and wildcatter, Wyatt serves as a board member and secretary-treasurer of The DeBakey Medical Foundation and is a member of the Board of Stewards of the Texas Aviation Hall of Fame.  He and his wife Lynn contribute generously to charities around the world including Doctors Without Borders, the Princess Grace Foundation, the Houston Opera and Ballet, and many other worthy causes.  Wyatt is scheduled to stand trial in federal court in New York City in September.  He is accused of paying surcharges to the Iraqi government during the United Nations Oil for Food program in order to buy oil from Iraq between 2000 and 2002. He intends to enter a plea of not guilty and defend himself against the charges.
